Prisect Health was established in 2014 by Dr Glenn Duns, with the aim of fostering high quality patient care by promoting preventive medicine, multidisciplinary care and collaboration between the various layers of the health care system (see selected publications). 

Having multiple levels of care present in one setting provides:

- Ease of communication

- A multidisciplinary setting with health professionals from different backgrounds who are able to collaborate and inform treatment

- Collaboration with allied health professionals, addressing lifestyle factors including diet, exercise and sleep, which are crucial in prevention of illness and as part of a treatment plan.
